Solo violin and piano version commissioned by the Florida State Music Teachers Association for performance at their state conference held in Marco Island, FL, November 12, 2005, and funded by Music Teachers National Association and Florida State Music Teachers Association.
Orchestral version commissioned by the Minnesota Commissioning Club for, and premiered by, Alex Kerr and the Rhode Island Philharmonic; Larry Rachleff, Music Director. Premiere date: February 25, 2012
